Our Studio Culture

At IM=X Pilates Cary, we are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all fitness levels. Whether you are new to Pilates and fitness or have years of experience, our goal is simple: to help you move better, feel stronger, and build confidence with every session.

Studio Policies 

The following is a general overview of our studio policies. Full membership terms are provided at the time of purchase.

Studio Tours

Tours of the studio may be scheduled by booking an introductory session or by making an appointment with the Studio Manager.

Getting Started

We’re committed to helping you begin your IMX fitness journey safely and confidently.

  • All new clients must complete an Intro Session to learn our IM=X equipment, basic fundamentals, and studio flow.
  • Health History and Release Forms must be completed prior to attending your first intro session.

Booking, Cancellations, and Waitlists

All booking, session cancellations, and waitlist activity must be completed through the Mindbody app or online portal.

  • Semi-Private Sessions: Can be scheduled up to 30 minutes before class; Requires at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel.
  • Private One-on-One & Duet Sessions: Require at least 24 hours’ notice to book or cancel.
  • Late Cancellations & No-Shows: May result in a fee or forfeited session.
  • Waitlist Policy: If a class is full, members may join the waitlist. You will be notified immediately if a spot becomes available.

Attire & Arrival

To maintain a clean, safe, and professional studio environment:

  • Wear comfortable workout attire that allows full movement.
  • Grip socks are required for all sessions and are available for purchase.
  • Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled session to check-in, store personal items, and get settled with equipment.

Health & Safety

  • Please reschedule your session if you are feeling unwell or experiencing a cough or flu-like symptoms.
  • We ask that all members and guests wipe down machines and equipment and return them to their proper place after use.
  • Unsupervised minors are not permitted in the lobby/studio.
  • Only task-trained service animals are permitted.

Temporary Studio Closures & Session Cancellations

Members and guests are responsible for ensuring their contact information is current and notifications are enabled in Mindbody in order to receive timely updates regarding temporary studio closures or session cancellations due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances.
