The IM=X Pilates Floor and Xercizer Programs are taught in our 5-Day Basic Certification course. This intensive education gives you all the knowledge needed to begin your career. You will learn Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced formats for Floor and Xercizer, taught live and in person by an IM=X Master Trainer. The course is delivered through our educational manual, lecture presentations, and practical hands-on learning modules. You will learn eight sequences for Floor and Xercizer - about 140 exercises, as well as supporting research and teaching principles. The lectures and labs focus on stabilization, breathing, alignment and muscle recruitment techniques.
The IM=X Pilates Floor and Xercizer Advanced Program is taught in a 5-Day Intensive. The eight IM=X Basic floor sequences are expanded into 35 sections with many new exercises; and the eight IM=X Basic Xercizer sequences are expanded into 65 sections which also includes numerous new movements. The 180-page manual includes photos and step-by-step instructions on how to teach these new exercises and formats; and a supplemental DVD is provided to support your learning. Your clients will appreciate the level of training they receive as you add new challenges and variety to their workouts!
In the IM=X Tower course instructors learn sequences using the IM=X Wall Tower: an exciting all-in-one apparatus that provides your clients with a cross-conditioning alternative that is effective and adds numerous programming options for class variety. An instruction manual and an educational DVD are provided to support you in learning the 14 new sequences. The IM=X Tower course can be offered in conjunction with the Barre, Cycle/Tower and Platform courses to offer even more variety in class formats!
The IM=X SUPER Advanced Certification provides you with new formats and the knowledge of how to work with special populations. Learn new workouts such as our signature Upper Body, Lower Body, Golf/Tennis and Back Strength formats. The 205-page instructional manual includes step-by-step instructions plus a research overview on exercise for pregnancy as well as research on back rehabilitation. We provide an educational DVD which reviews these new programs.
The IM=X Cycle/Tower Program combines indoor cycling techniques with upper body resistance and stabilization using the IM=X Wall Tower and Ring. This course reviews general cycling principles such as positioning clients on the bike, increasing intensity through cadence or resistance, and monitoring workouts by Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE). The focus is on learning the eleven sequences as well as combination workouts which use the Tower, Barre and Floor Programs. The IM=X Tower/Cycle/Bar manual (103 pages of programming) is required for learning the IM=X Cycle/Tower. An educational DVD is provided to support you.
The IM=X Platform Program adds an element of balance, lower body intensity and improved spine stabilization. The routines include 8 sequences that combine the IM=X stabilization techniques with lower body resistance. Free weights are used for upper body toning and increased intensity. All formats are hybrids that begin with a basic Xercizer warm-up and progress through sequences for the hips, thighs, glutes, abs and arms. Your clients will love the added variety!
Offer your clients a variety of cardiovascular hybrid formats! Topics include: Rate of Perceived Exertion, Talk Test, Target HR Zone, Biomechanics of Cycling and Calorie Burning. The instruction manual and educational DVD provide step-by-step instructions on how to teach Cycle Hybrids, Plyometric and Jog Square Hybrids. Your IM=X Pilates and Cardio programs will replace your client’s need for a gym membership.
The IM=X Barre Program includes standing sequences that provide a total body workout. Inspired by traditional ballet training, the Barre method incorporates moves like pliés, tendus, attitudes, leg extensions and arabesques performed in combination with IM=X Ring Stabilization Techniques and light weights. The result is a powerful lower body lengthening and toning experience combined with upper body strengthening while increasing flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. The IM=X Tower/Cycle/Barre manual and educational DVD are required for learning the IM=X Barre program. A movement or dance background is recommended for instructors who will be teaching this program.
IM=X Yoga is a powerful blend of stabilization, balance, flexibility, muscle endurance and mind-body relaxation techniques. The program is comprised of eight standing and six floor sequences all using the IM=X Ring. IM=X Yoga is a total body workout which stabilizes the spine, increases joint mobility, and refreshes the mind. The instruction manual contains photographs and step-by-step instructions on how to teach each sequence as well as pertinent vocabulary, research and multiple class format options. A yoga certification is highly recommended but not required as a prerequisite for this course.

The IM=X Spinal Fitness course is for the Advanced Certified instructor who is interested in developing the professional skills and knowledge to design effective spinal fitness programs for post-rehabilitation and injury prevention. Focus is on improving the alignment, balance and strength of the Spine Stabilization System.
